I will be honored by every nation.
I will honored throughout the world."
The Lord Almighty is here among us.

Asking God

"For nothing is impossible with God."

Luke 1:37 37

This morning I shared on board the Logos Hope four words from the life of Hannah. She cried out to God in a time of political, moral, social and spiritual decay and corruption. She stepped out of the festivity to seek solitude with God in the tabernacle at Shiloh. She was mistreated by her rival. Her husband missed the point of her need and the religeous leader, Eli misunderstood her situation. She cried out of discouragement, anguish, and bitterness because she was barren.

She asked God to intervene. The normal spiritual process did not meet her need. This was an exceptional situation needing the extra-ordinary intervention of God.

She gave her request back to God for His glory and in complete surrrender to his purpose.

She believed the word spoken to her and this brough a complete transformation in her attitude to the situation.

She received what she asked for and God showed favour and blessed her.

Take time to step out of the clutter of life, find solitude and to ask God for His miraculous breakthrough in your situation.

The Source of Strength

The source of our strength is in our relationship with God. Psalm 16:11 tells us that in His presence there is the fulness of joy. Nehmiah tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Joy is an indication that we have found strength in His presence. It is an indication of a listening heart that trusts in the resources of God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is fully availbale to meet our need in the impossible situations of life.

Isaiah 30:15

"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength"

Mother Teresa

The fruit of silence is prayer,
The fruit of prayer is faith,
The fruit of faith is love,
The fruit of love is service,
The fruit of service is peace.

Faithfulness

God is faithful to us. He sees the failures. He sees the frustrations. We can trust His unfailing love.

Word to Transform

Luke 1:37

"For nothing is impossible with God."

Luke 18:27

"Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

Fan the Flame

Fan the flame of leadership in your team. Light a few more fires. Do not wast energy putting out good fires. Submit to the strengths of your team

Martin Luther King Jr.

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Leadership

We have a passion to see people around us grow and bear good fruit

Prayer

Prayer is not an optional extra. It is at the heart of our walk with God. Prayer exposes our lives to Him and explores His purpose for us.
